New Air Jordans Cause Nationwide Shopping Frenzy seems to be hot breaking news. The situation nearly turned into riots across the nation Friday following the release of Nike's new Air Jordan basketball shoes.
No injuries were reported, but some people suffered cuts or scrapes from fights, two doors broken by shoppers, and a 18-year-old man was arrested for assault after he punched an officer. The police also pepper sprayed on about 20 customers who started fighting at the Westfield Southcenter mall.
